These recipes make enough apple coleslaw salad to serve four and six people, however any left overs can be stored in the refrigerator for a few of days!

4 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup purchased coleslaw dressing
sprinkling of celery seeds
1 tsp. dried onion flakes
1/2 large apple, peeled, cored and grated
1 small carrot, grated
Combine all the above ingredients in a large bowl, adding more dressing if needed.
Toss to coat evenly.
The unpeeled apples in this coleslaw recipe, along with the carrot and bell pepper combine to make this delicious cole slaw recipe a treat for the eyes AND the palate!
FOR THE DRESSING
1/3 cup mayonaise
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
FOR THE SALAD
3 cups chopped cabbage
1 red apple, cored and chopped (not peeled)
1 green apple (Example: "Granny Smith"), cored and chopped (not peeled)
1 carrot, grated
1/2 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
2 green onions, finely chopped
In a small bowl, combine the mayonaise, brown sugar and lemon juice, until well combined.
In another, large bowl, combine all the remaining ingredients.
Pour the dressing (mayonaise mixture), over the cabbage salad and serve.
