A great recipe for a cozy fall evening while socializing around the kitchen table! And...apples and fruit dip are a healthier choice than chips and dip!
Ingredients
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese (can use low fat cream cheese), softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
Directions
In a medium size bowl, using an electric hand mixer, beat the cream cheese, until smooth.
Gradually beat in the granulated sugar, the brown sugar, the vanilla and the peanuts (optional).
Mix until smooth.
Keep fruit dip refrigerated until serving.
Serve with cored, sliced apples.
ENJOY!
Helpful Tip
If you are preparing the sliced apples ahead of time, sprinkle them with a little lemon or lime juice (or orange juice) to help slow down the browning process.
Keep the sliced apples in a sealed container or sealed bag.

Did you Know?
It is healthier to eat apples with the peel (skin), left on.
Apples are a good source of flavonoids, which have antioxidant properties. It is believed that most of this compound in apples is found in the peel.
So, eating apples with the peel still on is a more healthy way to eat an apple.
Eating apples with the peel left on also provides more natural dietary fiber.
One medium apple contains about 95 calories.
